Where there’s love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.” Many know what they enjoy doing, but few people take the opportunity to enjoy their passions and do it as a career. The zeal for what they love means people can spend hour upon hours appreciating and relishing the venture at hand.

Michael Zomber is such a person. He follows his love of collecting antique arms and armour with dedication and enthusiasm. This dedication to his collection is first-rate. His forty years of knowledge are valuable and extensive. Zomber’s enthusiasm welcomes questions and positive information, and he doesn’t mind sharing the knowledge he’s accumulated over these past years. He’s publicly shared his science of collecting guns and armour on Tales of the Gun seen on the popular History Channel. When the channel held the series on guns they called Michael Zomber. The series included Guns of the Famous, Guns of the Orient, Dueling Pistols, Shotguns, Automatic Pistols and Million Dollar Guns and they called Zomber. Besides his across the board knowledge of arms and armour, Michael Zomber’s expert knowledge of Japanese samurai swords receives acclaim and respect worldwide.

Additionally, Michael Zomber’s talents include storyteller and writing. He has written several historical fiction novels, all available on Amazon. Critics consider these novels well researched and true to the historical facts. The titles include “Shogun Iemitsu: War and Romance in 17th Century Tokugawa Japan”, “Park Avenue”, “Sweet Betsy That’s Me” and “A Son of Kentucky”. Each of these pieces of work focus on past wars with riveting glimpses of the period. Furthermore, he and his wife Andre produced the respected documentary film Soul of the Samurai from Renascent Films, LLC a production company which they own.

Michael Zomber is the son of German immigrants. He attended UCLA and received his bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Psychology. He also received his Master’s degree in English Literature from UCLA. Zomber and his wife Andre have two children, Gabriella and Christopher. They live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and enjoy giving to charities such as Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, Get Lit, Global Exchange, The Smile Train, UNICEF and several other organizations.
