New Leadership at Coriant Led By Shaygan Kheradpir

Coriant is now an independent company since 2013 deals with advanced networking solutions. The company was formed following the merge between Nokia Siemens, Tellabs and Sycamore Networks.

Over the years, Coriant has always emerged in the top list of leading network operators serving in over 100 years. Coriant has so far been dealing with many customers that include, large enterprises, cloud and data center operators, content providers, financial institutions and government agencies.

The network transport solutions offered at Coriant has helped place many of their customers in the profit margins due to the end-user revenue. Furthermore, operators have managed to gather information on how to efficiently utilize resources and also bring up more services that generate revenue in the highly competitive market.

Shaygan Kheradpir, a professional in the telecom and technology industries was appointed to serve as the new Chief Executive Officer at Coriant. Shaygan has served in the industry for over two decades gaining much of executive experience. This really pushed the former CEO at Coriant, Mr. DiPietro to step down for Shaygan. However, DiPietro still stuck into the company’s leadership as the vice chairman with Robert Leggett the chairman.

Shaygan was born in London but grew up in Iran. He later on moved to the United States where he attended Cornell University. He pursued engineering and got a PhD, masters and his bachelors.

He kick started his career at GTE Corporation which later merged with Bell Atlantic to form Verizon. Shaygan was elected the president at Verizon’s e-business division. He later on joined Barclays bank where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. Shaygan did not stop at that since he later on joined Juniper Networks where he was appointed the CEO.

Prior to Shaygan joining Coriant as the new CEO, he worked closely as an active member with the senior management team at Coriant. Following his great experience in the telecom, technology and financial industries, Shaygan is expected to lead Coriant to high levels.
